Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Marshall Motsenbocker
Dr. Marshall Motsenbocker is a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas, offering Christ-centered therapy to adults and older adults. His compassionate approach is shaped by both personal and professional experiences, having grown up navigating the complexities of mental illness and neurodivergence within his own family. These challenges deepened his empathy and strengthened his calling to serve others through psychology.
Dr. Motsenbocker integrates both process-oriented and skill-based approaches to therapy, helping clients develop emotional awareness, build resilience, and experience meaningful change. He supports clients in learning to master their emotions—rather than be mastered by them—guiding each person toward healthy independence and deeper relational connection.
Rooted in his lifelong faith, Dr. Motsenbocker brings a spiritual steadiness to his work. He became a Christian at the age of 12 and has experienced God’s presence through every season of life. His practice is grounded in the promise of Deuteronomy 31:6:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Through this lens, Dr. Motsenbocker walks alongside clients with both clinical wisdom and faith-based hope—reminding them that while emotions are real and valid, they do not have to define or defeat us.
